Aito Research is a unique mix of individuals' strengths flavoured with strong expertise in piezo electricity, mechanical excellence, embedded software and the human perception of touch. The essence of research is to create knowledge as building blocks to be packaged into robust solutions for application engineering. Aito research optimizes piezo sensors for touch interactions. With our intelligent use of microcontrollers we utilize integration software, emphasising low cost and low power consumption. We exploit various touch solutions on real physical user interfaces with buttons, touch pads and screens. In addition to sensing, we develop touch associated feedback methods with haptics, LED backlighting and sound. Through our correctly controlled multimodal feedback, we create touch solutions with designed experiences.
